ISL Chemie GmbH & Co KG

ISL Chemie was founded in 1968 at Cologne-Germany. They produce colorants for polyols, soft plastics, wall papers as well as in mould paints. In 1989 company was acquired by Rhein Chemie of Bayer group but in 2005 it is divested to Swiss based Berlac group.

Besides pigment based colorants, there are also bright organic colorants which do not contain pigment. Moreover there are some additives developed as anti-scorching or UV stabilizer. ISL products are highly used in Flexible Foam, Automotive, Wall Paper and Industrial Lack industries.

ISL Chemie produces annually 4,000 ton colorants with 120 highly motivated people and makes a turnover between 25-30 million EUR .
